Douglas College เป็นสถาบันเอกชนที่ก่อตั้งมาแล้วกว่า 50 ปี  มี 2 วิทยาเขตหลักตั้งอยู่ที่ New Westminster  และ  Coquitlam  ห่างจากใจกลางแวนคูเวอร์ประมาณ 30 นาทีโดยรถไฟ ปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนต่างชาติประมาณ 2,000 คนจาก 70 ประเทศทั่วโลก สำหรับนักเรียนต่างชาติที่มีผลภาษาไม่ถึงกำหนด สามารถเข้าเรียนโปรแกรมสอนภาษาแบบเข้มข้น เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการเข้าเรียนใน Academic programs
