มหาวิทยาลัย Reading เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเก่าแก่ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี ค.ศ. 1892 และมีชื่อเสียงเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล เป็น 1 ใน 200 ของสถาบันการศึกษาที่ดีที่สุดในโลก มีชื่อเสียงในหลักสูตรด้าน Business, Economics และ English และติดอันดับที่ 44 มหาวิทยาลัยที่ดีที่สุดของ Guardian University Guide 2024 อีกทั้งยังติดอันดับที่ 12 ของมหาวิทยาลัยใน UK ที่มีเด็กไทยไปเรียนต่อมากที่สุดปี 2019 – 2022 จาก HESA (The Higher Education Statistics Agency)

University of Reading เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีชื่อเสียงด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ปัจจุบัน University of Reading ตั้งอยู่ที่เมือง Reading ซึ่งอยู่ทางตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ของประเทศอังกฤษ โดยอยู่ห่างจากกรุงลอนดอนประมาณ 60 กิโลเมตรสามารถเดินทางด้วยรถไฟประมาณ 30 นาที การเดินทางจากเมือง Reading ไปยังสนามบินนานาชาติ Heathrow และหลายประเทศในยุโรปนั้นสามารถทำได้สะดวกโดยรถบัสและรถไฟ

มหาวิทยาลัยเปิดสอนคุณวุฒิต่าง ๆ ในหลายสาขาวิชา อาทิ ศิลปะ มนุษยศาสตร์ ธุรกิจ สังคมศาสตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์ นอกจากนี้ยังมีการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ด้านวิชาการจากการค้นคว้าวิจัย และแนวคิดใหม่ ๆ อยู่เสมอ โดยคณาจารย์ และผู้เชี่ยวชาญในสาขาต่าง ๆ เป็นผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังความสำเร็จ นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษาที่สำเร็จการศึกษาไปมีอัตราการได้งานสูง และเรายังหนึ่งในเป็นสถาบันอุดมศึกษาอันดับต้น ๆ ในสหราชอาณาจักรที่นักศึกษาเลือกเรียน
